Testimonies

From Watchman Writings — preserved by Soldiers for Christ.

← Back to Watchman Glossary

Jesus told His disciples that opposition would come, yet He also promised His presence and peace. The persecuted church reminds us that faith is not cultural comfort but steadfast trust in Christ under pressure.

Matthew 5:10: "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Hebrews 13:3: "Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them."

We do not use suffering stories to stir fear. We remember suffering believers so that we can pray, support, and endure faithfully in our own assignments. Their witness calls the whole church to courage, humility, and love.

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, strengthen Your people who are suffering for Your name. Give them courage, wisdom, and endurance. Provide for families in danger, heal those who are wounded, and comfort those who mourn. Keep their faith firm and their love unshaken. Make us faithful to remember them, pray for them, and stand with them in truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.
