Names And Identity

From Watchman Writings — preserved by Soldiers for Christ.

Ephesians 2:14 (KJV): "For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;"

Throughout Scripture, God reveals His faithfulness through His covenant with Israel. At the same time, the gospel extends salvation to people from every nation. In Christ, both Jews and Gentiles are invited into reconciliation with God through faith.

From the earlier RaptureReady911 (RR911) page on Jews and Gentiles, this revised teaching keeps a scriptural center: God's covenant faithfulness stands, and in Christ both Jew and Gentile are called into one new man through the gospel.

We honor the biblical story of Israel without boasting or hostility. The church is called to humility, gratitude, and faithful witness, remembering that salvation is by grace for all who believe.

Identity is not found in trends, rivalry, or speculation. Identity is grounded in the Lord Jesus, who reconciles sinners to God and teaches us to walk in love and truth.

Reflection: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, pray for the nations, and commit yourself to gospel unity that reflects the heart of Christ.
