Living Watchful

Mark 13:32-33 (NKJV): "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is."
Titus 2:13 (NKJV): "looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ."
Scripture calls believers to readiness without date-setting. We are not commanded to predict timelines, but to remain faithful, sober, and full of hope (See glossary: Blessed Hope, Appearing).
2 Peter 3:11-12 (NKJV): "Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God..."
True watchfulness produces holy living, patient endurance, and active love for others. It does not produce panic or speculation.
Call to watchfulness: Abide in Christ, remain devoted to prayer and Scripture, and share the gospel with gentleness. Jesus is coming; therefore let us be found faithful.
