Living Watchful
From Watchman Writings — preserved by Soldiers for Christ.
Scripture teaches plainly that antichrist deception is real, but it also teaches believers to remain steady and grounded in Christ rather than controlled by speculation.
1 John 2:22 identifies the spirit of antichrist as denial of the Father and the Son. Discernment begins with sound doctrine: Jesus Christ is the Son of God, come in the flesh, crucified and risen.
2 Thessalonians 2 warns of lawlessness and deception, while also calling believers to stand fast in apostolic truth. The answer is not timeline obsession but fidelity to the gospel.
Matthew 24 tells us to watch and not be deceived. Jesus calls His people to endurance, faithfulness, and obedience as history unfolds according to God's authority.
Watchfulness is therefore a steady life in prayer, Scripture, repentance, and love. We test every spirit by the Word, reject fear-driven claims, and keep our eyes on Christ our Lord.
